About Us

The Sport Forum at St. George Church is a social and athletic initiative that aims to strengthen the spirit of love, cooperation, and friendship among parish members of all ages. The Sports Gathering was established on 9 March 2023, and its members meet every Saturday after Children’s Mass. Its objectives include:

• Encouraging young people to practice sports as a healthy lifestyle.
• Instilling values of respect, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
• Strengthening bonds of friendship and social relationships among participants.
• Providing an inclusive church environment that integrates faith with recreational activities.

 

Sports Activities of the Sports Gathering:

• Forming football and volleyball teams for all ages and for both genders.
• Organizing football and volleyball tournaments.
• Organizing tournaments in table tennis, billiards, chess, dominoes, and card games.
• Bingo games every Saturday.
• Sports games and recreational competitions for children and adults.
• Organizing celebrations, social evenings, and recreational trips.

 

Through the Sports Gathering, the Church seeks to nurture a generation of athletes committed to Christian and human values, combining physical health with spiritual and social growth.
